Project Details

This stunning 345 sq. ft. elevated deck project in South Elgin, Illinois, was built from the ground up using premium composite materials selected for both style and durability. The decking and picture frame border feature Trex Transcend Earth & Tropicals in Island Mist, offering a contemporary gray woodgrain finish with a 50-year fade and stain warranty. To add clean contrast and dimension, the fascia was finished with Wolf White boards, creating a sharp, eye-catching outline.

The rail system includes Trex Select Classic Composite Railings with black round aluminum balusters and white posts for a modern yet timeless look. This combination enhances safety while allowing open views and aesthetic flow between the deck and backyard.

The new build measures approximately 23’ x 15’ and was completed in just 6–7 working days, demonstrating IC Build’s commitment to both efficiency and quality. The stair treads match the deck boards for visual consistency, while the picture frame detailing around the perimeter adds a polished, upscale finish.​
